Fishertown in Nairn is a idilic location, a few minutes walk from the harbour, golf course & beach. Keel Cottage is a spotlessly clean, well appointed & very comfortable accommodation. WiFi is patchy making streaming tv (the only option) somewhat frustrating, but if you’re in this part of Nairn, I guess you’re not going to be spending much time indoors. I would highly recommend this property. FYI, there is a world class fish & chip shop, Friar Tucks, a few minute’s walk from Keel Cottage. It closes at 7pm and as everything is cooked to order there is generally a 15-20 minute wait, but trust me it is absolutely worth it.

Great place

Keel Cottage, is a little Gem. We only stayed for 3 nights, but when we next come up will absolutely be in touch with Emma again. Very short walks to, local shops, pubs and restaurants. Would be a great base for exploring the local area, Was very comfortable, we all felt at home straight away. Emma is a great communicator and was very quick to reply to any queries. Stay at Keel Cottage, you'll have a great time!!

Lovely cottage in a great area, stayed here with 5 friends, as was at a wedding in a hotel nearby. For any tall people, just mind your head if sleeping upstairs as a few head bumps on the slanted ceiling😂 Communication was great and would recommend staying here to anyone visiting Nairn!

Fantastic cottage, beautifully presented. Emma was so helpful and a wonderful host. We had a great stay. It was the perfect location to go dolphin watching on the Moray Firth!

Peaceful weekend in a beautiful character cottage. Positive: Clean, well furnished and close to the beach. The garden was cosy in the warm evenings and the area is quiet. Beds were extremely comfortable. Property has bags of character and perfect for a weekend getaway. There was also a fantastic chipper nearby which was a bonus. Negative: Driving to the property is challenging with a big car given the very narrow streets surrounding the property - but the property has its own parking space which is handy. But the streets are obviously no fault of the property.

Very comfortable accommodation, Immaculately clean, bathroom, towels, bedding all pristine, the bed and pillows were comfortable, we slept well. The kitchen had everything we needed to allow us to eat in. The location is ideal, walking distance to restaurants and the beach. We went to some of the places Emma recommended. The games were fun to play in the evening. Overall a really great place to stay

Beautiful & peaceful holiday Positive: amazing cottage to stay in! Immediately felt like home on entering. Such a relaxing aura about it. 3 tastefully and beautifully decorated bedrooms - easily sleeps 6 people. All looked exceptionally new and spotlessly clean. We only made tea n coffee then pasta one night but the small kitchen was packed with everything you could need, including condiments! It had gorgeous habitat dinnerware and even some toddler style plates & cutlery - so considerate. The bathroom was stunning - roll top bath, free standing shower and plenty of space to get organised. It’s a 2 minute walk to the beach and a 5 minute walk to the high street where there’s loads of coffee shops for sampling! Negative: I have absolutely nothing to say here! It’s a stunning and well maintained home.

Would highly recommend Keel cottage, great location for the beach and a nice walk to the Main Street. It’s peaceful location was just what we needed and long walks along the beach were just perfect. The cottage had everything you need and was very clean. I would have liked access to a hoover though just for cleaning up sand at the front door after our beach walks. Will definitely be back.

We stayed at Keel Cottage for three nights and really enjoyed our time there. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the beach and in a lovely peaceful area that made it easy to relax. The cottage itself felt cosy and comfortable, and it had a really nice atmosphere that suited the surroundings perfectly. Nairn is a charming place and we actually wish we had planned to spend more time in the area exploring. Keel Cottage made a great base for our stay in the Highlands and we would happily stay here again in the future.

The stay was exactly what was needed for myself my wife and the dogs. Extremely peaceful and beautiful location. The house was pristine and exactly how described. Will definitely look to use this property again if we travel north.

Absolutely beautiful location. Cosy, homely cottage, immaculately kept, fantastic interiors with everything you need provided. Stones throw from the gorgeous beach. Car parking and driving to the cottage can be a little tricky through the small lanes but that made it a nice, quiet area with very little noise. We loved it!

A beautiful cottage in an ideal location. The cottage was immaculate and free of clutter. Emma was so welcoming and friendly in her communications and provided clear instructions on the cottage and also lots of info about the local area. So happy we stayed here and would absolutely stay again. Thanks Emma xx

Cozy & welcoming property close to the beach Positive: Gem of a cottage. Lovely location, only 2 mins from the beach and all other amenities. Cottage was very clean and so cosy. Board games to keep us entertained. Check in was super easy. Highly recommend, and will definitely be back again.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Keel Cottage with our young dog Kairo. The cottage was so clean and really warm. The beds were comfy and there was everything you'd ever need in the kitchen. It was greay to have the parking space right outside and the enclosed garden which felt really private. The cottage sits in very quiet surroundings. The beach is 2 minutes walk and is beautiful. Forests nearby and lots of places to eat. We had a take away delivery the first night and ate at the Sundancer the second night, which is dog friendly. Lots of dog friendly cafes close by too! We would definitely recommend Keel Cottage and if we travel down to Nairn again, we would stay there again. Emma is a fab host and very responsive. The little biscuit treats and bag of goodies for Kairo our dog was a really nice touch. Really warm place and the woodburner was toasty warm when watching tv at night time.

Emma was a great host. The house was pretty the kitchen was clean and all the amenities mentioned in the description were all available. She also kept games as a fun element. The washrooms were clean and they were proper instructions and recommendations in the book she provided.

Couldn’t fault emma as a host, kept in contact every step of the way and nothing felt like too much to ask. The property itself was beautifully presented and well looked after. The location was very peaceful and easy to get to. The amenities were spot on and we can’t wait to stay here again!

We had a great stay at Keel Cottage. Emma has thought of everything that you’d need for a completely relaxing break. A very generous welcome pack and a well stocked kitchen. We felt thoroughly spoilt as did our dogs. Emma left them a welcome pack too. We had our two children (10 and 13) and our two dogs. We spent much of our time on the beach and strolling around Fishertown. Plenty to see and do. The cottage was very cosy and immaculately clean. We enjoyed two evenings playing pinball, watching TV and warming up in front of the stove after very frosty dog walks. Thank you again Emma.

Nice place, very cute, fairly well equipped. The garden wasn’t very suitable for dogs though with the gate not being able to be locked and the fake grass.

Emma’s place is simply the best! Everything is just top shelf!! The cleanliness of the place is incredible and the comfort is unmatched. Emma is friendly and communicates effectively and timeously. I’m looking no further :)

We spent two nights here and absolutely loved it! The accommodation is clean, cosy and felt homely. Great location too - Only a few minutes walk to the beach and restaurants etc. Hope to visit again in the future and would recommend to anyone looking to visit the area.

Keel Cottage was perfect for our stay in Nairn for a family wedding. We absolutely loved it! Its close proximity to the links and the town centre is ideal, and yet it is in an exceptionally quiet area. The cottage itself is charming and beautifully renovated and Emma is a super host. Toller Aufenthalt! Alles war sehr sauber und neu. Emma hat sich sehr viel Mühe bei der Einrichtung gegeben, viel Liebe im Detail und in der Deko. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely cottage! The house was spotless and very easy to find. The bedrooms were generously sized, and the entire home was well-equipped with everything we needed—from a fully functional kitchen to comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. Everything was in excellent condition, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is ideal for families, situated in a quiet and very safe neighbourhood. It’s perfectly placed for visiting both Inverness and Nairn Beach, which are just a short drive away. We especially enjoyed how peaceful the area was, while still being close to key attractions and local amenities. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend this place to any family looking for a clean, comfortable, and conveniently located home in the Highlands.
